It makes my life fuller to volunteer at the Food Pantry. It’s a joy to be able to help others who are in need! Thanks for the opportunity to aid the community directly, and spend time with nice people while doing so.

OUR MISSION

The Corner Food Pantry is a non‐denominational charity offering one of the most basic human needs — nutritious food.

All of our funding comes from private sources — our friends, neighbors, local organizations, foundations, churches and schools. Our administrative expenses remain low because we are an all‐volunteer organization, so we can spend the private donations we receive to provide food for the hungry.

Clients receive three days of food for each family member

  • Family size determines the amount of food provided

  • Every household is required to register by giving their name, family size, town and phone number

FAMILIES SERVED

Activity at the Pantry has risen sharply since the onset of the pandemic. Since April the number of individuals served each month has more than doubled. During 2020, we provided food for more than 4000 families, feeding more than 16,000 individuals. This represents more than 144,000 meals and about 173,000 pounds of food!
